An important Royal Flying Corps ( R.F.C ) photograph and scrapbook album. The property of Harry Ware ( b. 1892 ) an Air Mechanic 1st Class in the RFC Motor Transport Division, Service Number 536. The album containing photographs and postcards of RFC individuals and Squadrons at work and recreation including Victoria cross recipients Billy Bishop and James McCudden. The major of the photos have pen notes underneath identifying members and their dates of death during the war. The latter half of the album are photos culminating in then Senior Equipment Staff Officer Ware's career based in Africa then subsequent retirement in 1948.
